Robin Smalley is an award-winning television producer / director who turned her attention to the non-profit world when she uprooted her family to South Africa, where she Co-Founded mothers2mothers.

m2m has become a leader in global efforts to end pediatric AIDS with its Peer Mentor approach that trains, employs, and empowers HIV-positive mothers as frontline healthcare workers to bring health and hope to other mothers and their families. Since its founding in 2001,

m2m has reached nearly 1.5 million HIV-positive women in nine sub-Saharan countries in Africa. And, according to UNAIDS guidelines, m2m has virtually eliminated mother-to-child transmission of HIV among its clients, with an average transmission rate of 2.1% in 2015.
